He looks dumb on the vs. screen. That's really it. It's a good design when they don't have him bearing his teeth like a corpse with toothpicks propping up his smile.

SFV outside of that awful screen, and 3S are the only ones where he comes off as legit cool. SFIV is by far his dorkiest look yet but for some reason that's rarely noticed these days

His model looks a little weird but I actually like his ponytail thing. I'm not a fan of his helmethair bowl cut/crop in Smash or some of the earlier games.

It's a known fact that 1997 just wasn't a good year for Ken fans, life really hit them hard around that time.

Alpha Ken in the SFV looks okay, even at the character select screen. I think they tried to make his default look accurate to him being a 35 year old Japanese businessman who still dyes his hair and went a bit too far with it.
